Throughout high school, I challenged myself both academically and personally by maintaining strong performance in my school courses while pursuing a rigorous AP curriculum. I began taking AP courses in 10th grade with AP Psychology and AP French, continued with AP Calculus AB and AP Biology in 11th grade, and completed AP Statistics in 12th grade. My dedication to balancing schoolwork with advanced coursework helped me develop strong analytical and time-management skills. As a result of my consistent effort, I received 18 university offers and will be studying Psychology at the University of Edinburgh. These achievements reflect not only my academic ambition but also my commitment to making the most of every opportunity available to me.

I started my AP journey in the middle of 11th grade — much later than most students — and honestly, I wasn't sure anyone would take me on at that point. IYN did, without hesitation, and that decision changed everything for me. With their support, I got into King's College London, the school I had been aiming for all along. But what makes IYN truly special goes beyond the results. The teachers are genuinely like friends; even now, they still call to check in on us, and we still spend time together. The friendships I built there are some of the best I've ever made, and the annual AP camp was both incredibly fun and one of the best ways I prepared for my exams. Thanks to IYN, doing APs stopped feeling like a chore and became something I genuinely enjoyed.

Alongside my German School–based education, I completed my AP courses externally through IYN, bringing me one step closer to my goals. The process taught me not just academic knowledge, but also the value of disciplined work, perseverance and consistency. Today I study Biomedical Sciences at University College London (UCL) — my childhood dream. This journey showed me that, with the right guidance and determination, dreams really can become reality. And I believe the greatest strength on the road to success is never giving up — taking one more step forward every day.
